still bfn.  Oh well.....af will show in the morning.   We'll give it another try-maybe next month will be it for us.

I was on 100 mg of Clomid and had an IUI 24 hrs after my morning opk positive.  What are your suggestions to be more aggressive next month?  I wasn't even monitored.  They said they would  per our request but every u/s and injection of any kind is 200 bucks a pop.

We have no known fertility issues-just age is against us, I guess.  Please suggest anything.  Anything.

I have two more IUI's in front of me and then we're done.  Since we have Emerson, we're cutting it off after IUI-no IVF for us. 

Any suggestions?

    You need to do whatever you feel is right for you. Clomid does not work for everyone. I always had regular cycles, etc. until we tried Clomid. I had no follies, my lining sucked, and I had severe side effects. I switched back to injectables and did just fine. But, that's just how I reacted. If you're already spending the money for the IUI, it may not hurt to have an US done, just to make sure something is there and that your lining is reacting ok to the clomid. Also, if you choose to trigger with ovudril, it makes it much easier/more exact to time the IUI. I have never had much success with OPKs, but I do ovulate on my own. Good luck and any decision you make will be the right one for you. 
    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.

    I think 11dpiui is too early to test, I got BFN on home test at 13dpiui but bloodwork on 14dpiui was BFP, so go figure. 2WW is tough!

    I know $200 per u/s is a lot, but I'd encourage you to have one before O if you can afford it. ?I had one at around day 14 I think, and my lining was too thin (probably because of Clomid) so we waited 2 days and did another u/s and lining was good, so I did trigger shot (&BD) that night and then IUI 36 hours later. ?I was on ?Follistim also, and so with the u/s they could see that there were 2 follicles and how big they were, so to me it seemed really worthwhile to have the u/s checkups. ?There was also an u/s on the day of IUI and they could see that I had O'd. ? I know it's $$$, because my insurance doesn't cover anything. ?

    I have no suggestions on the medical part of it but I just want say that I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide. And, I hope that you might of tested a bit early and that you BFP is a couple of days away.
