NTTCR: I found a baby mouse this morning

I was getting dressed and looked over by my shoe shelves and noticed something squirming on the floor. At first I thought it was a big bug, but when I got closer he started squeaking a lot. We are probably responsible for the death of his mom since we had the exterminator put out bait traps in the attic, crawl space and under the kitchen sink. Our cats had killed a mouse a few weeks ago and we have been hearing them in the walls.

He was like a newborn, could barely move around and only had a stub for tail. Barely an inch big. DH and i put him in a box and I took him to the local animal center where they said they would care for him until he was big enough to be released. I gave them a donation.

I just hope he makes it. (I know, I know, he's a mouse, but he's a baby and I think he deserves a chance at life). DH said this is why he loves me so.
