Day 5 of Sleep Training using Baby Whisperer

I started on Thursday giving up the pacifier cold turkey and doing the pick up/put down method (not CIO).  Yesterday was the worst day (the day of regression), but last night I put him in the crib and gave him a few pats and left the room waiting for him to cry and to go in and start the process.  He babbled for about 45 minutes and never cried, just went to sleep.  I couldn't believe it- he is not one of those babies.  He did the same thing for him middle of the night feeding, except that after babbling for 35 minutes he cried and I patted him for 1 minute and he went to sleep until the morning.  Same with his morning nap.  I hope this keeps up!!!

    that is great to hear! we are just starting a few tips i've read with this kind of stuff....i think we're being inconsistent which is why we have no progress--but this gives me hope :)
