Hi Ladies. I was talking to my BFF and mentioned that my periods have always been super light. (Less than four days & can't even fill up a tampon in ten hours last few years.) So I'm worried I would not be able to get KU because of thin lining. I told her since it's only been three months I thought it was too early to call my DR about getting on pregesterone but I would call after xmas if not BFP.
She told me a few horror stories about another friend on clomid. I've heard you girls talk about it but I thought it was more to force an O. Can you all set me straight? TIA!

Re: Is clomid pregesterone?
Clomid is not progesterone - it is to induce ovulation.
If you have only been trying for 3 months, chances are your doctor (and your insurance) are not going to do anything for you yet. It can take a healthy couple up to a year to get pregnant.
If it makes you feel better, I have super short periods - 2-3 days and one of those days is usually only light or spotting if that and my RE said it's nothing to worry about.

If you look at yesterdays post I had asked if short cycles affect fertility and got some good answers. My cycle has been 2 days of bleeding and 2-3 days of spotting and sometimes I will stop bleeding completely for half a day or so and then start back.
Light periods weren't an issue for me--Mine are usually only 2-3 days of light flow and like gymnst, one of those days might just be spotting.
