still bfn. Oh well.....af will show in the morning. We'll give it another try-maybe next month will be it for us.

I was on 100 mg of Clomid and had an IUI 24 hrs after my morning opk positive. What are your suggestions to be more aggressive next month? I wasn't even monitored. They said they would per our request buy every u/s and injection of any kind is 200 bucks a pop.

We have no known fertility issues-just age is against us. Please suggest anything. Anything.

I have two more IUI's in front of me and then we're done. Since we have Emerson, we're cutting it off after IUI-no IVF for us.

Any suggestions?

I would say give it the 2 more tries of IUI. My first 3 IUI's were unmedicated, and I would call when I got a positive OPK, like you did. For our 4th IUI we got aggressive and did injections. That's what worked for us! We are unexplained IF.

I agree with 4-5 IUIs total. We also had success with inj. rather than clomid. Not more follies each time, but according to Dr. "stronger O"

You are not out yet though, so I would wait and see. Both of my babies were conceived on IUI number2, but cycle 3. The second IUI for each had to be canceled.

That also sounds like a lot for inj. Cash price for each dose for me was not even 200.

I would be monitored and use a trigger. I did 6 IUI's but only used OPK's for timing on the first 5 of them. IUI # 6 I did one US and a trigger and got the trio. I was also on 100mg Clomid for my last 3 IUI's. Good luck!
