I've been using Allen's for our CD's (mostly BG's and Fuzzi Bunz) and I have to do at least an extra 2 cold rinses on the highest water setting after the hot wash to get all of the suds out. I'm using less than a half ounce per load (top loader, non-HE machine). Would a powder detergent (Planet or something similar) be any better? TIA!
Re: Does powder detergent rinse better than liquid?
I would say no.
Are you doing warm rinses?
Do you have hard water? ?Liquid is actually supposed to be better for hard water.?

I think we do have hard water. Dumb question, but what can I do about that? Should I be using warm rinses? My current routine is cold rinse - hot wash - cold rinse - cold rinse.
