WWYD? Traveling and possibly missing out on a cycle of IUI?

Hi Ladies-

I've been out this cycle for IUI#2 because of the residual cysts.  It's now CD16 and no signs of O......at all.  If I do get AF since I'm pretty sure we won't get a BFP naturally, (but hey you never know), I am guesstimating that I would go in for CD3 baseline US and BW at the end of this month.  Who knows what they will find....and if we will be able to proceed with IUI #2.  Does anyone have experience with cysts?  Do they go away (I am not on any BCP's or meds) on their own in one cycle, or does it usually take longer?  Also, if you have gotten cysts from the fertility meds before (Gonal F) does that tend to happen after every cycle?????

Anyway, I want to go visit family for Thanksgiving which would probably interfere with the following cycle, which I may or may not need depending if #1) If there are cysts again from IUI#2, or #2) I get a BFP.  Am I overthinking this?  Should I just book my flight already?  Wait until CD 3 to decide? Or stay here in NY......argghh......decisions, decisions.......help!

    i dont have advice on cysts but i say continue on with your life. dont put it on hold, i let 18 months of my life go by because i might or might no O or be KU.  

    if anything can you do timed intercourse with the meds instead of the turkey baster if it falls on thanksgiving time?  this was going to be our plan if IUI #1 didnt work in sept/oct, we would be falling on the thanksgiving timeline and then if that didnt work we would be going into xmas. 

    so good luck hope it works out for you.  thinking BFP thoughts for you!
