I like this one bc it has a little scoop to catch the bits
I remember seeing one when I was pg that had a lip around all the edges to catch everything, not just on the bottom. Now I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Or have another rec?

We have this mat and we love it. I bought it almost three years ago and it's held up really well and it sticks to most surfaces.
ETA - it also rolls up very easily so taking it places isn't a problem.
This placemat did not work for dd. She can pull the suction cups up and then all the food and the mat goes flying:)
I buy the disposable ones, they work so much better for us. We get them at Target, the little Einstein ones.
((((hugz trees))))) I don't think I'll mind. We don't eat out that often!
We have that one and it was great before DS turned 1. Now it is just a game to either throw the food in the scoop or pull the whole thing off the table.
I buy the disposable ones, however, the ones we buy are biodegradable so they are still earth friendly.

I got that placemat at BRU and I was very disappointed with it. DD could pull it off of the table and I didn't think the food catcher cup worked very well at all.
We used it one night at an italian restaurant and I forgot about it in her diaper bag for 2 weeks. lol It was moldy and I threw it in the trash because the mold stained it and grossed me out.
I ended up getting the plastic disposable sheets that stick on the table and those are great!! They have sesame street characters on them, which are her favs, and they keep her busy while we wait to eat.
