I'm ok. I did a HPT a few days ago so I knew. Actually, my cramps told me before the HPT. I cried then so I'm past it now. Moving on to the next round.
We'll I would move on but my RE just went out on maternity leave so they shipped me to someone else in the practice. Nice, huh? Not only did I walk home from the doctor's appt and pass 8 pregnant women but my own RE is having a baby. I don't even meet the new doc. I just call the nurse to get me the meds for the next IVF.
Anyone do this protocol? Estrogen patch, Lupron, Folliston & Menopur? I googled on line and it looks like the most aggresive protocol available - which makes sense since I don't respond well (i.e. only 2 follies) to the meds. Just curious about if all those drugs- especially the estrogen- make you nuts for a while.

Somehow that is just wrong that your RE is out on maternity leave. Seems like it would be better if the office just lied and said she was traveling in Europe for a few months. One of the nurses when I had my ET was 8 months preg. When she was taking my BP her belly touched me. It really didnt bother me then. I think today it would though
Best of luck with this upcoming IVF. Is that the estrogen priming protocol? I remember some girls on the "infertility" board having success with that protocol.

I'm sorry the IUI was a bust
I was on the lupron, follistim, menopur...and I was taking Estrace...for my IVF. I believe I took 225 follistim and 75 menopur each might for about 11 days...they got 12 eggs. I am on the estrogen patches now and estrace...I cry at the drop of the hat and my stomach is quite bloated, not sure if it's the estrogen or progesterone, or maybe the combo of both. But I will take all this weepiness if it keeps my little snowbaby growing without any complaints!
