Tell me about the aquarium!

Their website is atrocious! It's beyond difficult to navigate. I just want to be able to tell DH what our girls are going to be able to do when we're there. His answer when I asked him is "I don't think Bre's attention will hang on long when she's looking at fish she can't touch". Can you explain all the things to me that they have that won't cost extra? TIA!

Re: Tell me about the aquarium!

  • I've only been there for a wedding. There was a sting ray tank where they can touch them and there is an outdoor section with birds - I think you can feed them??  The ceremony was in front of a floor to high ceiling tank that had benches and looked like they did presentations there normally.  Sorry I can't be more help, but it seemed like a fun place for kids.

  • We took DD and although she is so young she really enjoyed it. There is lots to do for kids. Be sure and bring a bathing suit! They have a water park for kids (free) and a special place just for toddlers.
  • They have a sting ray touch tank downstairs and a smaller touch tank upstairs with things like starfish, etc.  The area oustide has a pirate ship they can play on with squirters and fountains and there's a small slide that sprays water on them.  My 2yr old DD and 6 yr old niece have a blast when we are there.  There is also a sand box area.  We usually go through the aquarium which they like looking at all the fish, quickly, and then we change and go outside.  There's a tiki-type restaurant outside that also sells adult beverages :)
