How often do you see the dr?

I am in the military and know that we do our medical issues differently so I was wondering how often pregnant civilians see the dr.

I go every 4 wks and I think that will continue until 32 weeks, then it goes to every 2 weeks and at 36 weeks go every week.

That's probably right for me too. I wasn't sure about when you start going every 2 weeks.

I see my dr. every 3 to 4 weeks. Then, it's more when I'm around 28 weeks along.

Every 4-6 weeks now. After 32 weeks it will be every other till 36 weeks, then it will be weekly.

Im military as well, but seeing a civilian dr as the base we are stationed does not have obs. going every 4 weeks...im not exactly sure when i will be going every 2 weeks but i also havent asked.

I would think that care would not be all that different between civilian and military care.

My appointments are every 5 until 32 weeks (it will be 33 for me, because that's how the math worked out), then every 2 until 36 (37), then every week. That last few weeks seems a bit obsessive to me, unless there is something wrong at that point. I'm probably wrong, but IMHO it seems a bit much.

I'm high risk so we went a lot early on (weekly) but now we're on the every 3-4 week schedule. After my next appt (27w) we move to every 2w for a while, then every week starting at 35.

Every 6 weeks- I'm not the norm for thinking this but: THANK GOODNESS it's not any more often than that! It's such a time-suck and I have a toddler who isn't a great listener.

My midwife group is pretty laid back about some things, and that works for me!

i wish mine were every 6 weeks like yours, urbanwifey! I hate going every 4 and when it hits every 2 and then every week Im not going to be happy. i loathe going to the dr. and already have had enough of seeing drs.

I have actually not gone very often this pregnancy, but my CNM is fine with it, it's just the way our schedules have worked out. Typically they see you at 8-10 weeks for the first appt, then every 4 weeks until 32 weeks, then every 2 weeks until you switch to weekly at 36 weeks.

For this pregnancy I went at 10, 14, 19, and will go next week at 25.
