My Cat's a Jerk

When I go to bed and I bring a glass of water in, I always wake up an hour later to him sitting on the nightstand, dipping his foot into my water and then sucking it off of his paw.

Who knows what kind of crap (litearlly?) he has stuck between the little toes he spreads out in my water, so he makes it so I can't drink the water. Guess I need to switch to a water bottle, with a lid.

Yeah, I think something with a lid is a good idea. My cat used to do this and dump full glasses of water on me during the night. THat was super fun. :P

Mine does this too! I just put one of my daughters picture books over the top of the glass so he can't stick his foot in there. I've gotten so mad at him before for ruining freshly poured glasses of milk with his nasty feet.

i wonder how many times my cats do this when I am sleeping, I usually always have a glass of water by me! Indifferent

Oh I am so glad my cats haven't taken to this. My little cat wedges herself between my head and the headboard and then purrs. She just started this 2 weeks ago and it really irks me. I've woken up several times each night just to throw her to the bottom of the bed. So annoying!

Haha...my cat did this to me the other night!! What a shock to wake up to a nice cold, full glass of water being poured all over your body. lol My DH thought it was the funniest thing he has ever seen....I think they are both jerks!!! :P

LOL! I can totally picture our kitten doing this. I have caught him a few times checking out my orange juice. I think I'm going to have to use something different now. Last week, I caught him DRINKING right out of my DHs cup of milk. It was a very funny sight...the cat's whole head was down in the glass...it made me giggle. It got me thinking how often he does that and my DH has not known.

Your cat isn't a jerk! Cats are just mischievious by nature. I can't bring glasses of water to bed with me because my cat does the same thing...he dips his little paws in it, and then he usually proceeds to dump the entire cup.

He's in a phase right now where he gets up every morning, without fail, at 4:30 AM to be let outside. Talk about annoying!
