United Hospital L&D Rules

I'm delivering at United in February, and I'm wondering if anybody here knows their L&D rules for how many people can be in the room (during the?actual?labor and birth). ?I tried to call their today, but the lady who I was supposed to talk to is out of town until Tuesday. ?I'm thinking this is going to be my excuse to limit the number of people in the room. ?

If you don't want someone in the room, just say you don't want them in the room. Or don't tell them you're in labor, call after the baby has arrived and you're up for visitors.

They are very strict. Some people have had to fight to even have their doula allowed in the labor room.

They were not strict at all. They said I could have as many people as I wanted as long as the nurses/doctors were able to assess me.

United was a great place to deliver.

Hi All, just a follow up...I talked to L&D today and they said 2 people are allowed in the room.
