Need a good OBGYN

I need a good OBGYN that is available!  Mine is really nice and knows a lot but is impossible to get into and if you do he hurries through your apt after making you wait over an hour to see him.

I have endometriosis and I want to find out if I have PCOS, I also seem to have some emotional issues surrounding my period and need help.

I want to TTC next year and want somoene who will help me with that.  I dont want someone who is going to make me try for 1 year plus since I already have endometriosis and may have PCOS, making it double hard to get pregnant.  So I want somoene who will either do SOME endo reproductive stuff or will refer me to someone.  I also want an OB who if I do get pregnant will let me do either water birthing or TRY natural.  I am not sure I will be able to do natural but want to try.  I really want to do a water birth but I dont know much about it other than it helps with pain.

Thanks in advance

  • I see Dr. Damon Warhus at Womens Healthcare Associates (whallc.com) and he's awesome.  I started seeing him a few years ago when I had a lot of pain (pain that sent me to the ER) and found out I had endometriosis.  He was really great through all of that (including my surgery to remove it) and has been really great throughout my entire pregnancy so far.  I'm not sure how he feels about water birth's, but he's cool with my plans to go natural and says he doesn't do an episiotomy unless you ask for it :D

  • Sounds great, I already see someone at Womens Healthcare Assoc but he is totally unavailable.  He mostly does high risk pregnancies and I dont feel I fit in that category.
  • Do you already see Dr Stewart?  He's great but like you said, super busy.  Dr Warhus is really nice, calm and an excellent MD.  Def check him out!
