Since it's snowing here in NE today (UGH!) I started thinking about what I was going to do about a winter coat since the 3 I have aren't going to fit here pretty soon....are you buying an actual maternity coat, or just a normal one, but in a bigger size? Anyone know of any other places besides Motherhood that sell maternity coats? TIA!
Re: Are you buying a Maternity winter coat?
I just ordered one from gap online.
https://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=42867&vid=1&pid=694281
I hope it works out. I'm really not into online shopping but it seems like the only way I can find good maternity stuff.
my read shelf:
Yeah, I'm in Chicago too.. and I think I'm going to try all my coats on and see if I can find one that works before I break down and buy anything else.
It gets very cold and windy here...my other coats are already getting too tight in the tummy and I don't think I'll be able to deal with just not buttoning them. So I ordered this one from ON. It feels like it's going to be pretty warm and very roomy!
I just got this and LOVE IT! It will fit over my belly and is pretty good looking. I figure I will probably need it after the baby is born too.
I actually ordered this coat as well, I have found gap fits great with the maternity, so if you have regular clothes from there it will work fine.
In Minnesota it is a must and my vest is very tight and it is already below 40 in October so I figured I had to get a coat to last until February in the cold that will come in the next few months. Gap and Old Navy have some very good quality and cute jackets.
Never have! We are right niext door in IA my Columbia coat is a little big so it will work just fine. For some reason I'm always hot while pregnant so I've also just worn my fleece alot of times
I love the Gap jacket. Too bad it's over $100... no way Im spending that kind of money on a coat that I'll wear for like 2 months.?

The ones at Target are really cute. They are better looking in person then they are online. ?
