XP: unexpected dr. visit

I've been having a lot of contrax. lately and today they seemed to be even more frequent and def. stronger. After having 10 in 1 hour this afternoon I decided to call my dr. They wanted to send me to L&D, but I asked if I could just come to the office instead - thankfully I could be there in 15 minutes and they agreed!

Anyway, I'm 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. My cervix is soft and the babies head was VERY low. (The dr. said she had to reach behind LO's head to feel my cervix.) They said it could be early labor, and I'm supposed to call them if there are any changes... water breaking, bloody show, intense contrax., etc. I don't know what to think right now!!!

still here but not doing so well..... i've been having stronger contrax. w/ back pain and increasing pressure since about 4am. maybe today will be the day!?!? I'm not in pain, but def. getting uncomfortable. I'll try to post an update later.

Thanks ladies! I'm still hangin' here! No more progress at this point. Just trying to not think about it and get some last minute stuff done around the house!
