High chair help

The local B-R-U only had 8 models on display, and a worker told me that 3 or 4 of those were being discontinued.  I wasn't impressed with the ones I saw.  Has anyone registered for a high chair they liked?

    I HIGHLY recommend getting one of the space saver chairs.....like this one:

    I have the Chicco High Chair and its a very high quality one......but there is so much padding and its a HUGE pain to clean. Even if you clean it after each meal, there is so much padding that junk gets in it everywhere.

    I wish I would have just gotten the space saver chairs. Also, you can take the space saver chairs with you to places......for the next baby, I'm not even taking the high chair out, don't want to deal with all the junk in the padding!!

    I highly recommend a space saver too we had a graco and it got to take up wayy too much space so we bought a Summer Deluxe and its awesome!!!

    Right now DS i just starting solids but we just use the Bumbo with the tray and sit on the floor to feed him. Works great for us. Once he is on table food we will def be getting one of the space saver chairs that strap onto a dining room chair. All plastic, no padding easy to clean. Even with the worst messes its nothing the bathtub can't handle!

    The Fisher Price Rain Forest high chair is going away.  I don't recall the brands of the other discontinued ones, but most of them seemed to be the larger, non-space saver types.

    We had the Chicco for DD which we'll use again. I was really happy with it. Someone else mentioned it was hard to clean, but I thought it was easy to wipe down and when it got crumbs in the seams I just used my little hand vacuum. It was easy to fold up as well. If the space saver works for you, go for it, because it's nice not to have a high chair taking up space. We have a nice dining room table and our other dining space is the island in the kitchen, so the space saver wasn't an option for us.

    We are going with the fisher price space saver. Our kitchen just isn't big enough for a huge chair, so this seems perfect!

    We went with the fisher price zen high chair.  It seems nice so far but we haven't used it.
    After 2 m/cs, dx October 2008 with hetero factor v leiden & mthfr & low progesterone; third time was the charm - BFP 3/19/09 on first cycle of clomid. Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
