How old was LO when you ditched the infant car seat?

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months
DD is less than an inch away from being to tall for it!  She's only 7 months, I thought she'd be in that thing for longer.  How old was your LO?

    We just did, maybe a month or so ago.  She still fit in it, but it was looking uncomfortable, so we got her a new one.

    we're getting ours this week - L is creeping on the weight limit and i am sick of lugging that heavyass carrier everywhere so were just doing it earlier

    We did when D was 8/8.5 months.  He was still almost 10 pounds away for the weight limit, and about 3 inches from the height limit, but he was so confined and uncomfortable, it wasn't worth it to keep him in there - he cried every time he had to get in it.  He's much happier now!

    We ditched it at 6 months when he was able to sit up on his own.

    DS was about 7 months.  He totally outgrew it; he weighed 24.5 lbs at his 6 month checkup.  Poor little guy was so cramped in there, I felt horrible leaving it as long as we did.

    I know, I don't even carry that thing around anymore.  I leave it in the car and pull her in and out of it, unless I'm using the stroller.  I guess it will be easier and better to move up, but I'm just in denial.  They grow so fast!

    We did it at 7 months.  She was just too heavy to carry around in it anymore, and she was close to the weight and height limits, too.

    I had to do a double take on your name!  I am Amanda Lynn and my maiden name started with a P!

     We have not yet but I am thinking about it!  Stupid question.....you then have to get one for each car that you have right?
