I was just reading the post below about car seat covers and jackets etc.

We bought the cover you posted from Walmart, and you said you had something similiar do you put a coat on your LO or just the cover enough? We have 2 super lightweight fleece coats but not sure if that will be too warm.

  • we used a small fleece coat, and then used blankets under the car seat cover. Most of the time we ended up having to take stuff off of her because she was too warm. Unless it was really freezing, we didn't do much more than the cover and the jacket or the cover and a blanket...

  • Perfect and one more question since you said you are a car seat tech, we got a hand me down little neck support. It has the strap holes and then goes around her head, is that safe?

    not unless it came with your seat. Most infant carriers have some sort of head support with them now. If yours doesn't, you can take a couple of rolled receiving blankets and put them around the baby's head for support.

  • Thank you girls, we are getting the car seat this week, I dont remember if it came with one or not. I thought this thing was cool but figured it wasn't safe.
