If DS doesn't finish his bottle, they'll keep trying to get the infant to finish the bottle for one hour. If after that they don't, they throw the food away. I was under the impression you could offer the bottle at the next feeding (which would be about three hours) without issue. Tips for helping daycare understand that? I cringe to think of how much bm they'll be wasting!!

send smaller bottles...that is technically correct practice.
bacteria can build up in the nipple from the child's saliva.
cant you just send an extra nipple?
i would hate my BM to be thrown away.
They won't handle the bottles. State regulations about handling bodily substances.
Looks like we'll be sending two ounce bottles!
