This may be a silly question so forgive me.
My LO is eating solids now and my dr. said to go ahead and do 3 meals a day. Right now he gets a fruit/cereal in the morning and a veggie/cereal in the afternoon at around 4pm each with his bottles. My Dr. also said that the meals should be when we eat as it is good for social interaction. I don't get home till 5pm so typically daycare gives him the afternoon solids. We don't eat dinner till 6 and he is in bed by 7pm. Therefore, my question is how do you break it up with your work schedule? Should I feed him solids at 6 and let daycare give him his regular bottle at 4pm? I also would really like to be able to give him dinner as I am unable to do breakfast since I have to leave so early.
Re: Solid Feeding and dinner ?
Our approximate schedule:
6:30 - solids followed by 6 oz.
9/ 9:30 - 6 oz bottle
12 ish - lunch
3 ish - 6 oz bottle
6ish - dinner followed by 6 oz
bed by 6:30/ 7.
Caveat- we have a VERY minimal bedtime "routine". As soon as he's tired, I take him up, change him, sometimes read a book, then in his crib he goes. It takes all of about 15 mins at most. He just stopped wanting to be rocked and just fights being ni our arms. So, bedtime is very simple and it's not a big deal to do dinner less than an hour before bed.

He'll probably be fine! You may find that he either doesn't eat too many solids, or doesn't want as much of the bottle at 7, but I'd try it and then you can make adjustments from there.
