Babies: 3 - 6 Months

is "snacking" part of the 3 month spurt?

he will only nurse for 6-8 mins the last few days and then want to eat 1-2 hours later instead of 3-4... please tell me this will end with the growth spurt haha

  • Maybe hes just becoming more efficient?? J went  a few days eating every 2 hours and they were his normal size bottles.

  • K usually only nurses for 10 mins at a time.  He is pretty effective.  But yes during his 3 month spurt he did eat more frequently.
  • Definitely a growth spurt. DS would go from eating every 3-4 hours, to every 1-2 hours. It sucks, but it happens! lol

  • It's the only way DD has ever eaten. Really. I didn't know there was any other way! Her pedi and my LC say it's "just the way she eats" and there's nothing I can do about it. Lucky me.

  • It must be..my DD is doing this too. She will eat for like 4 minutes then keep pulling off then just play around. Then she wants to eat again like 30-40 minutes later..frustrating. Must be the spurt!
  • Gianna eats every 1.5-2 hours, unless she's sleeping on me, and then she will sleep for a while.  But her waking times, she's eating that frequently and has since birth.
