1 hour glucose test....sucks

Hey girls,

So I've been having on and off palpitations and shortness of breath the past few days, so my ob suggested getting some labs drawn and doing ym 1 hour glucose test early.

Felt fine intially after the test, now I feel like crap. Major headache, nausea, tired. Anyone else react like this?

    yeah I felt like ass after my test, & almost passed out, though I also had 12 vials of blood taken for my quad-screen at the same time. That said, I was still 134 and would have failed at 135. I get to have a second 1hour test next week & I'm not looking forward to it :(

    I took the test last week. I loved the drink. I had the orange kind and thought it was soooo good!! I didn't feel funny at all. I passed with a score of 115!!!! I was very surprised because diabetes runs in family!

    My friend who is 30 weeks had the exact same symptoms as you(she had to lie down at the doctor's office) and she ended up passing with no problem.

    I'm taking my test on Monday and am SO not looking forward to it.  Mainly because I don't think I'm going to be able to drink it.  I have major aversions still to sweet stuff, and I am dreading trying to get it down.

    i had mine 3 days ago. the first day i was a bit nauseated with a headache that night. then yesterday, i just felt like CRAP. granted, i do have a little bug, but that drink definitely made me feel off. don't worry, it will pass. and even tho the drink made me sick, i passed the test.

    I did a two hour, fasting test yesterday.

    Maybe 20mins after taking the drink I felt a bit nauseas but it passed quickly and then I was fine.

    Drink water, I always find that helps if I overdose on sugar.
