  • I would be too!

  • WOW!  Yeah you are going to have to leave directions with them if you ever leave you LO there....

I saw a lady open a can of coke the other day and pour it into a 10/12month olds bottle!  Pizza doesn't seem as bad as that, but still.  I would be mad!

  • Wonder what they gave CJ when you went to the wedding!? j/k but would be very upset with that!
  • At my nephew's 1st birthday, my BIL's niece was there. She was 5 months old, eating chocolate cake, and icecream! She didn't even have any teeth!

They went on and on about how she is very sensitive to milk, and she can only drink goats milk because of it. Hello...do you think she is not going to get sick after eating this stuff?

  • It's probably not that bad - as long as they're not giving the kid pieces that would choke them. If they're just gumming on a piece of crust with some sauce it should be fine.

  • LOLOLOL  Yea, he looks like he's really chowing down!  OMG  Its not that bad!  Bread and marinara sauce, oh noes!  LOL  As long as he's not downing huge pieces, its fine!  Don't look at this pic, beware:

  • My in-laws like to brag about feeding my DH cheeseburgers when he was six months old.  As a result, I am hypersensitive about letting them watch DS if I'm not around.  They make lots of comments about how overprotective I am, but in this case, I don't mind being overprotective one bit!!

  • i'm sure they would be thrilled to know you posted a picture of THEIR child on a public message forum.
  • Not seeing why this is a big deal? A lot of babies never eat baby food, babies don't need teeth to eat food. DS has been eating what we do since 7 months, can you expalin to me why this is so wrong.
  • I don't see the big deal.  It could be worse....like oh I dunno, my grandmother-in-law who was trying to give DS wine?

    Yeah.....

  • I really don't see the big deal either (as long as the parents were okay with it and the child wasn't left unattended with something they could choke on). It isn't like the kid is having pizza for dinner every night, it looks like it was a taste!
  • i have her permission to post pictures of my niece, because they are so close in age - i often post pictures of them together.  If everyone makes a big deal of starting solids at 6months rather than 4months..and so on - why would they want their children eating fatty greasy pizza at 6.5 months old? I know for a fact the mother, my sil is not giving them permission to do this

  • Some friends of mine have 2.5 month old twins.  They posted a video on FB of them letting the babies suck on an Oreo.  I didn't comment because it wouldn't have been nice - but they definitely got the side-eye.
