Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss
Just got the news :(
I just got a phone call from my doctor. My Hcg levels have dropped in the last 48 hours making this a "non viable pregnancy". I guess now I have to wait to see if my body will start the m/c by itself or whether I have to take the drugs to start it. It really sucks, because we were sooooo excited but I realize that if it wasn't meant to be then it is Gods will. Doc told me to wait at least one full cycle before trying again. Does anyone have any idea what to use for birth control prior to that cycle besides condoms? Thank you.

I know how you feel. I was wondering too if it was God's will but God is not in the business of causing suffering. He's not responsible. It just happened. I'm slowly coming to terms with that and because I'm always trying to figure out the plan and look for answers it's been hard. We tell ourselves things aren't meant to be to console ourselves and yes sometimes they aren't meant to be but I don't think miscarriages usually fall in that category.
That's my thinking anyways.

i'm sorry to hear about your loss. it totally blows.
as far as the sexual relations, i had a d&c and had to use condoms to prevent an infection. you may want to keep that in mind at least for the first few weeks after you miscarry. but if it's natural, i'm not sure if the same rules apply-- may want to consult your dr on that.
otherwise, hubby and i used the pull and pray method.
