Pregnant after a Loss

Only feel LO when?

I can pretty much only feel LO moving around in there when I'm sitting down or laying down with my knees up. I've only felt her while standing once I think. Any time DH tries to feel her, she quits moving. Last night he actually put his hands on my belly and got his face right next to it and started yelling at her to try to spook her into moving!

Anyone else only have little movers at certain times?

Re: Only feel LO when?

  • At that point yes, mostly b/c you are probably so busy running around doing things and their movement isn't as strong yet.

  • I was definitely feeling only sporadic movement when I was where you are, and usually just when I would lay down for bed at night.  And it was SO frustrating that LO would stop moving whenever DH would put his hand on my belly.  I'm talking an instant cease and desist.  LO could be kicking up a storm for 5 minutes straight and the second DH would put his hand on my stomach, LO would stop.

  • My LO goes nuts when I'm hungry.  Don't know if he/she is hearing my stomach growl maybe?  Definitely his/her mother's child though, lol.
  • Up till the past couple weeks, I only really felt her while at work - prolly cuz I'm sitting on my arse all day. Now I feel her day and/or night, but it's on a schedule of sorts. For example, around 1230-1 in the PM, she goes nuts almost daily. It's friggin adorable! : )

  • I feel little bubbles when I'm laying down first thing in the AM or right before I fall asleep.

The only time I've ever felt "real" movement was Tuesday when I was at chorus rehearsal - I got kicked like crazy during warm-ups!!

  • I mostly just feel the baby when I'm sitting.  I feeling movement when I'm standing, but only if I'm standing still.  I think when I'm moving around, it's too hard to feel movement.
