TTC After a Loss

Is it work appropriate to unbutton your pants?

I'm all bloated and they are uncomfortable.  Any HR people out there?  If I walk around with my pants undone would that be bad?  I'd probably get fired, but at least I'd finally be comfortable!

Re: Is it work appropriate to unbutton your pants?

  • Well it's def not the worst I've seen at work.

ETA: I take my shoes off when I need to make a lot of copies.

  • I got crazy bloated when I was preg. Beginning of the day pants zipped fine. By the end of the day I was walking to the car with a purse in front of me to hide the open zipper.

Invest in long tanks (I swore by the target brand) and carry strategic notebooks... kinda like the horney 14 year old boys in HS!!!

  • Not at all, I do it all the time, especially after lunch. Just pull your shirt down or untuck it. :)
  • when I was pg the hair rubberband trick worked like a charm -- do you do that? and make sure your shirt is long enough to hide it!

  • Unfortunately my pants today have a snap, so I guess I'm SOL.  Plus, I don't think my shirt is long enough.  I went home at lunch and kept my pants unbuttoned the whole time at home.  You'd think I would've changed, but I was afraid my coworkers would question if I came back in different pants!  Only three more hours, only three more hours....

  • It is never inappropriate to undo you pants at work.  If HR has a problem with it let them know you don't appreciate their discrimination of your bloat!

What's up?  How was the trip?

  • Trip was great.  Had a lot of fun with family.  Plus, I was playing with my two month old nephew most of the time.  I gots to get me one of those.  I posted last night and this morning with my complete confusion over my body.  I don't know what's going on.

How are you?  I saw your pics from your MHS walk on facebook.  You look great!
