Hi ladies
Ok, so I am certainly no pregnancy expert since this is my first, but I would consider myself pretty knowledgable when it comes to both coffee and tea (I work for a coffee and tea importer and therefore have to be knowledgable).
Decaf Coffee- I know that it is ok to drink during pregnancy according to most Doctors, but I think that it is worth knowing that decaf coffee (unless it is a Swiss Water Decaf) is put through a chemical wash to remove the caffeine. In most cases the chemical is EthylAcetate.

here's a link to an article that had some good info on decaf coffee.
Decaf Tea- if you are going to drink Decaf tea just make sure it is a CO2 decaf...it is a more natural process that does not use any chemicals. ![]()
Sorry to discourage anyone who is really enjoying their decaf cup of joe in the morning...but I feel like it is better to be informed so that you know what you're drinking ![]()
If you have any tea or coffee questions feel free to ask...I'm full of knowledge when it comes to this subject.
Re: Info on Decaf
I agree
I don't think decaf coffee is bad in moderation...I just wanted to provide a little info so that people didn't think it was a great thing to over indulge in
I am the same way. I used to love coffee. In fact our wedding had a coffee theme to it. But anymore it's usually only once a week that I have coffee and that is in the form of a latte, highly disguised. When my DH comes up to me with heavily coffee smelling breath, I sometimes have to get out of his space for fear of nausea.
