DD is literally squished in this with her knees up to her chest... I am concerned because my plan is to keep her RF hopefully to 2 but how is that possible? I got the boulevard because I thought it was spacious... any of you have same issue?
Do you have the infant insert still in? The extra pillow around their back? If so, try taking that out. Boulevards (and I have one) aren't the most spacious on the market. But, you should be able to get most children to 2 RF in a Blvd.
I have it tilted, I actually think it work better if it tilted more, if there was more room between seat and carseat for her feet to go but they meet up. I'm wondering if it's my car's seats, they are like bucket seats in the back. I will def remove the inserts! Thanks ladies
What kind of car do you have?? My DS is 16 months, a little over 25 lbs, and nearly 35" tall and is still happily rearfacing in his Boulevard. I'm driving an Altima, but he still has plenty of room. His feet touch the seat, but he bends his legs some and is fine. I do take his shoes off to give him a little more room and to keep the seat of the car cleaner, but truly he has plenty of room.
You could try a pool noodle under the front of the seat to give you a little more recline. However, if your DD is not fussy, but just looks cramped, I'd say she's probably fine! Kids are very flexible and what looks uncomfortable to us is plenty comfy to them!
Re: Britax Boulevard RF
Do you have the tilt set properly? It tilts for RF and sits straight up for FF.
