2nd Trimester

beating the dead horse...first case of H1N1 in my school...

It's not in my class, another grade in my hall. If it gets to my class should I call my OB?? Or just watch my symptoms? Not too worried, but do want to keep on top of this/catch it early.
Due October 29

  • Two of my band kids at school have already had it.  I called the doctor and they said that if I start to show symptoms they would call me in some meds.  I wish that we could stay home until this passes, but we can't!  And all the kids are sick right now, whether it be with the flu or something else.  I'm home sick today with something I've caught.  No fever though, so no flu.

  • I'd wash your hands a lot and wipe down your classroom with clorox wipes every day. Beyond that, if you start to show symptoms or several kids in your class get it, I'd call, but if it's just one or two I probably wouldn't.
  • GRR!!! I hate when sick kids come to school! I wish we could stay home til it all passes but unfortunately that is not an option.
  • Yes, you should call your OB if one of your students gets it.  My OB told me to call him if this happened.
  • My 5yr old is home today with a Temp of 101.4 it was 99.3 this am but its back up to 100.6 I kept him just incase. it hit him at supper last night no warning like he was gettin sick..all he has is a Temp. no cold nothing..Kinda worried there....Now I*m worried! where I*m at they are Treating all child flu patents like H1N1 to be safe!! and the count down start as to when i will be gettin sick!
