DS has loved it since he was 6 weeks old. We put him in it when he's fussy for no real reason - he's starting to want to be more independent but since he can't sit up by himself the Bumbo is perfect!
Heather - Ha! Well, at least you got some use out of it...
I looked at the consignment store by us and they didn't have one. I was going to order from amazon, but maybe I can look on craigslist or ebay... Especially since it sounds like they outgrow it quickly...
This picture cracks me up. I was laughing my butt off when you posted it in the other post.
To answer the question: DS likes his and we put him in it daily, but if we weren't borrowing our niece's there is no way we would have gotten DS one. If you do get one, do your damnedest to get one for cheap somewhere. I will say that we can't put DS in it right after eating because it makes him puke

Im glad I got mine at a second hand store. DS likes it but not enough to have paid full price for it. He'll sit in it and chew on the side of it. But to have him sit in it while I try to feed him his cereal... he always tends to look down in it. I think hes looking at which side he would like to chew on today. haha
Re: To Bumbo or not to Bumbo...
DD hates it. The cat loves it.
Let's try this again...

Love it! We have the play tray, too.
I got a new one with tray on ebay for $30, free shipping and no tax...it was a steal!
DS's legs barely fit in it anymore. He also rarely uses it. He spits-up too much in it and he'd rather sit on our laps.
If you get one (which I would get a Bebe Pod - wider legs), get is used. It's not something that needs to be new. They wipe off super easy.
Tillie loves it! She used to sit in it to watch me put away dishes in the kitchen. Now, we just use it for meals.
I didn't register for it, but still got it as a gift. I LOVE it.
Lol, that is so funny
