Why did everyone want this so badly? It really doesn't make a difference to me. Really, it just makes the boards seem even slower since less people are on this board.

Exactly! Maybe if we biitch enough they'll change it back, lol.
Not necessary. In that case they may have to split up the 6-12 board as well...3-6'rs become FOB once they enter 6-12 and annoy the heck out of 6-12'ers. Oh well...like my opinion counts.

I didn't really mind but I think you will understand more why it might be annoying for some when your babies get a bit older. There is a big developmental leap at about 3-4 months of age. There are also some topics that are more appropriate once that leap happens than are for babies younger such as STTN topics and of sleep training.

I understand your point but that happens on every board. If that's the case they should split the tri board too because everyone gets sick of hearing the same questions over and over. Oh well.
When your baby is 5 months old and you keep seeing the same posts over & over again, then you'll understand WHY it was necessary. I'm sure you got sick of all the lunchmeat & caffeine posts when you were 12 weeks into first tri, right? Same difference.
I hope you guys don't think it is because any of you "annoy the heck" out of any of us. That would be so silly! I love the NB questions because it reminds me of when DD first came home and all the questions I had.
Just think of it this way, you will have a smaller, tighter group and when you all go to the next stage together, it'll be that much more interesting.
I was on this board a year ago and nobody had a problem with being together then. I don't see what the big deal is. Why can't the mom's of older babies just be helpful and answer questions moms of younger babies have? It's not like we are here that often with being on maternity leave.

A trimester is about 3 months. Imagine seeing diaper bag posts for 6 months...it gets old.
Re: Was this change really necessary?
i agree...

This. THe bump seems to be damned if they do and damned if they don't around here lately. My gosh.
yes, it was necessary.
the end.
Oh whoa, I just noticed.
this!!
This. Totally agree
