I love friends that make you feel like crap.

I was telling a friend about L's sprained ankle and she asked where it happened and I told her at his school.  She told me I needed to be a SAHM.  Thanks for that, friend.  Just make me feel like crap because I just love working so much that I chose to do it over staying home with my son (insert sarcasm).

    You are doing what is best for you and your family.  Don't let her get to you.  You love your DS and are taking care of him in the best way you can.

    what a stupid thing to say!   What if he was older in elementary school and he sprained his ankle....is she gonna give you a guilt trip because you arent home schooling him?

    Tell her to blow you. Even if you do SAH things happen and kids get hurt.

    aw that sucks!! DS gets hurt at school-it's not uncommon. They're there for the largest part of the day, it's going to happen.

    Don't even worry about it. You know it wasn't anything you could've prevented even if you were a SAHM. Sorry she made you feel crappy!
