I am having breakfast room curtain commitment issues. I would need 6 panels 96" long....stupid tall windows.
HELP.
Olive colored walls, black distressed cabinets, white tumbled marble counters and antique espresso colored table and chairs.
I have no theme and will probably never have one in there.
Re: Anyone seen any awesome curtains lately?
With your sewing abilities and fabric knowledge, I'm surprised you wouldn't make them yourself.
I am no help in that dept. Almost all my windows are bare right now since I can't find anything I like.
Sounds like it needs something lighter in color to avoid making it look like a cave.
I have plain old cream tab tops.

That sounds nice - gingham pattern with light beige and the color of the wall perhaps?
unfinished view.
I really need to take more house pictures!
I love fabric but honestly I think this is one of those things that is cheaper to buy than make!
here is what was supposed to be in there but I am feeling old lady vibes!

Also the room has cathedral ceilings so having dark may not matter!
You have a beautiful taste - it's going to look so nice with the colors you chose.
Not sure what your budget is but these are nice:

Window treatments are always so much money!! I still need them in some of rooms and we've been there two years.
What about these? https://www.potterybarn.com/products/harrison-stripe-drape/?pkey=cstriped-patterned-drapes-shades
I'm thinking about the red ones for my kitchen, only the cafe curtain instead of full length.
Drapery is super expensive.
We loose a lot of heat from these windows so I need something heavy.
It would cost me about $300.00 to make them + time. DANG IT.. I know I should make them..BOOOOOOO
Pin, I'm a designer, check out this textile company, I'm thinking the Grand Jubilee Licorice would look amazing.
You will save serious bucks if you make them yourself and I am certain you can!

I see something like this in your kitchen. I have no idea where to find it though!
love that idea!!!
pin your kitchen is gorgeous. PS, I'm going to page you b/c I think you used house plans from someone we're considering.
that is beautiful and I know I have seen something similar for a little less per yard.
I agree with Foo and Yodajo, love the black/white bold pattern....I think if you are going to do window treatments, really have them add something to the room! This of course coming from someone who only has window treatments in her children's rooms
I'm a major commitment-phobe when it comes to this.
