part-time childcare

How do I find part-time child care?  I am in need of someone from 2:30 - 5:45 on Monday and Wednesdays.  All of the liscensed places will only take full time, or are super expensive for just a few hours.  I am looking for something in the North metro.

Thanks!

Re: part-time childcare

  • Have you considered hiring a college student as a nanny? Most colleges have online employment boards where you can create a job posting or search for students looking for nanny/babysitting jobs. Another option that I've also looked into is Sitter City: https://www.sittercity.com/. Good luck with your search!

  • All my BFF's "nannys" have come from Bethel College.  I would call them.

  • Where in the North metro? I live in Blaine and am free on Mondays and Wednesdays until I have my baby in the end of February. If you get in a bind and can't find anyone let me know and I'd be happy to help out.
