Can I use a heating pad??

My back is hurting soooo bad!! I am not sure if I can use a heating pad or not... Help!

    I was told no heating pad, but that I could use a thermacare heat patch. I can't remember why though...

    According to the experts on babycenter, yes a heating pad is safe on moderate heat. Here is the link. Hope it helps.

    That makes me wonder about "seat heat" in the car. I love the seat heat...but I wonder if that's a no-no too?

    I was thinking about the heated seats too.  I had mine on yesterday for the first time yesterday and I LOVE them!

    guess I'll ask the OB at first appt....add it to the ever growing list of Q's!!

     My dr. said they are fine for short periods of time.  Alternate heat and cold.  She said the thermacare pads are great.

    I've used them on my back while pg and my kiddos are healthy. I think you're just not supposed to put them on your stomach.
