Nope. I am just meeting with the nurse to do b/w and give a medical history. I am not seeing the doctor. DH will go with me for the 1st appt with the dr.

My 1st appt is only going over paperwork and health history and blood work. I keep telling him he doesnt have to go, but he says he wants to! I guess it will be good for him to hear what the nurse has to say though.

Mine came along. There was no u/s, but he said it was worth it anyway to be a part of it!

My first appt is at about eight weeks and I have been told there will be an u/s, so yes, definitely DH is coming.

Nope, my first appt is tomorrow and it is just a pelvic exam and whatever else, there will be no fun stuff like the heart beat or anything at this appt so neither one of us really sees any reason for him to get off work for that. He is very excited to come for the ultrasound and the fun stuff like that though!

He came to mine b/c we knew I was going to get an u/s. We've talked, and he's going to come to the ones where I'll be getting an u/s done, but won't go to the routine apts.

No because it was just a pregnancy confirmation appt. He asked if he should go and I told him no. I had b/w, urine test and filled out some forms, so it was uneventful. It would have been fine if he had come b/c the nurse was super excited and that was kind of fun. He came to the 1st u/s yesterday and will be coming to all the rest of them.

Yes dh went to the first appt, but our first appt was an ultrasound. Our second appt is when we are meeting with the PG coordinator (medical hx and what to expect and filling out paper work). I asked them if he should come and they said YES..so he is coming

DH went with me. I wanted him to feel comfortable with the doc as well (we weren't sure if we would stick with her). Also, it was about family history and his is complicated.

Mine did and I asked him to b/c even though we've been married for 7 years, he has a big family and I don't know his family history. This time they also did a u/s so we got to see the heartbeat so it was a good appt. He probably won't go to all of my appts - just the big ones.

Undecided still, and the apt is Friday. I'd kind of like him to come just to meet my midwife, but I know the rest of the apt will be really boring for him... We may just wait and have him come the next one.

Of course...he has made it to just about every OB appt. I've had. I've actually rescheduled some to accomodate him before. But then again, he owns his own business, so his boss is good about giving him time off, LOL!

We are hoping he'll be able to get off work for my 1st u/s in 2 weeks. With the times the appt's are scheduled he wont be able to go to the other appts I have this month.

DH didn't come to first appt because it was a pelvic exam/blood work with a nurse practitioner. he is coming to my second appt this Friday because we're going to listen for the heart beat (couldn't hear it at 8 weeks). Then I think he'll come at 20 for the u/s and not sure if any others.

DH is going to be OOT when I have my first appointment

I will have an ultrasound at this appointment and we're both disappointed that he'll miss it. Hopefully they'll give me a print or two to share with him!

he went with me to mine -- he stayed right outside during the physical and pap, but came in to hear the heartbeat with the doppler.

Yep, he has been to all my appts. I even told him he didn't have to unless there are u/s, but he enjoys coming and talking to the doc and making sure all is well.

He met me at the appointment today so he could watch DD for me while I had my exam. He also wanted to be there because we're having some issues with the pregnancy right now and I needed him for emotional support.
