How have things changed?

I remember someone telling me (before my 1st son) How going through a pregnancy could change or even possibly end a marriage. So far I must say that DH and I have gotten closer, but we had our moments in the beginnings, where I didn't know HOW we would get through this lol....Just wondering how everyone else's relationships/ marriages have changed, if at all?

    Aside from the fact that we haven't had sex in months, DH has been a lot more helpful around the house.

    If anything, we have gotten much closer! Sometimes I feel like I fell in love all over again with him :)

    With DS1, it definitely brought us closer....in fact actually saved our relationship. ?we weren't married then, and were going through a rough time. ?DS1 was a surprise. ?This time around, things aren't any different. Our relationship is still good....

    We've definitely gotten closer.  Our marriage was fantastic before, but it's so much better now.

    This is the same us as well.  I am hoping now that I am in my 2nd timester we'll be able to get things back on track though...if I could just stay awake past 8!

    We had a hard time when I was pregnant with DD, we found a lot but this time around it is soooo much better. We have not fought at all and are all really enjoying this. I am so thankful, I think the first baby was just an adjustment.

    I think if you don't start off with a solid foundation then yeah a marriage can easily crumble with any major stress, not just a baby. DH & I have been together for 10 years, living together 9 of those and married 5 now. We have been through every major stress there is except a baby so I feel very secure in our relationship that we will walk through this next chapter and be stronger than ever, just like ever other time we've had trouble/stress.

    i totally agree. Dh is very touchy with me now, more than before. and always calls and check in or text's where as before he didnt really. He is still lazy and has only cooked once but now if i ask him to do something he is usually up before i finish my sentence. He also traded in his beloved red sportcar for a suv. i love him
