Painful to walk?

AF arrived yesterday.  A day or 2 before that I started getting some pain near my right hip bone (a little to the left of it actually).  It really hurts when I walk and I don't know what this could be.  It doesn't seem to hurt when I am sitting, just when I am up moving around.  Has anyone experienced this before?  I do have uterine fibroids but I have not ever had this symptom before during AF (or really ever except the last few weeks I was pregnant with DS, but it turns out that was a fibroid on my round ligament and the Dr removed it).

I am waiting for the Drs office to open to make an appointment, just curious if anyone has had anything similar.

  • i have never had a pain like that that i can remember.  i would suggest massage therapy or chiropractic care.  try aleve or ibuprofen with a heating pad in the meantime.  hope you feel better soon!

  • Ibuprofens and a heating pad sound good to me too.  I sure hope you feel better soon.

  • I have fibroids as well and i get a dull pain in that area sometimes. I'm not sure if it is the fibroids or just woman pains or what? I take Advil and it seems to help.
  • To me it sounds like round ligament pain, which is a symptom of later pregnancy.  I'm wondering if somehow the fibroids could also cause this?
