Now I'm regretting my strategy.

Ugh.  Why did I do this to myself? I've been on self imposed lockdown for over two weeks with a 6 month old and a 3 yo.  To top it off, DH has not been able to help with the kids the entire time. And I've got at least a couple of weeks to go.  I don't think I can make it!

    DH was diagnosed with shingles.  It can be passed to people who have not had chicken pox or the vaccine.  So DH couldn't touch our 6 month old while he was contageous.  We have delayed the vaccine hoping our 3 yo would get wild caught CP--so we neither tried nor prevented exposure to her.  I quarantined us from the day we found out DH had them.  Now, from everything I'm reading, even if DD was exposed immediately, she wouldn't be contageous for 10 days.  So turns out the first 10 days of our lockdown was for nothing.  But now she is right in the zone where she could be contageous to other kids, so I still have to keep her on lockdown for another week.  If she does start to show signs, then the whole countdown starts over, since then we would have to wait to make sure my DS is not carrying it/contageous.  I would give anything to have those first 10 days back!

    Oh, and DH is back at work this week but when he gets home, he is exhausted and has to take medicine that makes him so dizzy he can hardly stand up.  He's on that medicine for 21 more days.  So I've got a toddler, a baby and and even bigger baby on my hands.

    I will try and start some dramz today to liven this place up for you during lock down :O)

    yep--we're so bored--I pop the 30 day shred video in, sometimes multiple times a day.  DD and I jump around and do exercises just to burn some energy.
