I started blow drying DD's hair. She takes a bath at night, and it has gotten really cold here and I don't want her to go to bed with wet hair. DH thinks I'm nuts and is worried she'll get split ends.

Do you blow dry your DC's hair?

Re: Do you blow dry DC's hair?
I find it hilarious that your DH is worried about your DD's split ends. I'm going to have to ask my DH if he knows what a split end is.
Your DD has a lot more hair than my DD...I think if she goes to bed very very soon after taking a bath that I might towel dry as much as I could and give it a quick once over with the blowdryer. Certainly no harm in it!
I don't but that's because she runs from it. I do hate how her hair is so wet, though. I have started giving her her bath right after dinner (about an hour before bed) so that is dry by bedtime.
If I was blow drying it, I think I'd just do it a little - you know, help it along, but not dry completely. Let it air dry the rest of the way.

I also had to laugh at your H worrying about split ends! If my H were to complain about it, it would probably be something about wasting electricity. lol.
Anyway, now that it's getting colder, I'll probably move DD's bathtime earlier to give her hair more time to dry, rather than blow-drying it. It's fine and thin like mine, so it air dries pretty quickly.

Alaina's looks better air-dried. It curls up better. The few times she's let me blow dry it it went flat.
