Ladies who charted after D&C/E
This may be a silly question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway.
You do ovulate the "cycle" after the D&E right? The one before your first real AF. I'm assuming you must, because that would bring on an LP, and then AF.

I was going to post on TTCAL because I figured I would get a faster answer, but after all that drama a few weeks ago that I had with them, I don't feel comfortable over there. Hopefully we'll get an answer over here soon MSC!

In my experience, I did ovulate the cycle after the D&E but it didn't happen until CD28 (about 10-13 days later than normal for me).
Well that is comforting! Do you have a link to a chart?

I have lurked here since I had my second m/c, this year, about 3 weeks ago. I did not have a d&c but miscarried naturally at about 6 weeks. I chart and I just ovulated on Friday. I got my crosshairs today. My temps were a little crazy at first, but they have leveled out. I don't know how different it affects your body when a d&c is done, but I hope that things progress for you and your body gets back to normal.
I wanted to add that I have followed some of you on gp and I am so very sorry for you losses.
I hope this works! (It's kind of ugly because I was a little bitter about having to temp so didn't do it very often!)
It worked, thank you! From what I can tell comparing cycles 1 & 2, it looks like you Od 10 days later the cycle after the D&E. Is that what you found?
How many cycles is your doctor making you wait?

That's what happened. The second cycle post D&E looks pretty much like the ones before it (except with much fewer temps...still bitter!)
We were told to wait 2 cycles, so once AF shows, we're finally ready! (It was really tough to follow doctor's orders this second cycle when everything seemed normal!)

I ovulated between 43 and 45 days after my D&C. I have no idea how to post a link to it though. I didn't start charting for a week or so and then the first week was all off as I wasn't sleeping well, was sleeping late, etc. My temps seem to regular-out after about 30 days and then they spiked between 43 and 45 (slept late on the weekend and have wine one night
). I can't really say which day, but I wasn't too concerned as we weren't trying.
One odd thing: I started bleeding Saturday night-Sunday morn very lightly. I spotted yesterday and bleed moderately but haven't had a temp drop yet.
So to answer, yes, I ovulated (as shown by thermal shift and EWCM), but not sure why the temp hasn't dropped.
