first appt-how early to see hb?

I have my first ob appt on 10/30 and I will be 7w5d (by my calculations). I should be able to see a hb, right? They will be doing an ultrasound.

Yep! I think it starts beating around 6 weeks.

I think you can usually see the hb at 6 wks.

With my first pregnancy, I saw the heartbeat at 7w0d, so you should be able to see it too!

Yes, that was exactly when I had my first u/s last time and we had no problems seeing the HB. I think my first u/s this time is at 7w4d (next Wednesday!!!) so I'll let you know

Yes, 6 weeks is the point where you should be able to see one, give or take a few days.
