that I *shouldn't* line the jacket I'm making with minkee?
I mean, yes, it's bulky, expensive, would totally throw off the cut of the coat, wouldn't match the colors, and would be the adult equivalent of going out and buying a new stuffed animal just to carry around with me...
but I need a GOOD reason.

ahhh - now that sounds fab (not bug not wearing a shirt, although I'm certain her DH would approve - just the minky!)
Dangit, the whole "oh yeah, I'll be wearing a shirt" thing just got me.
It's the coat from this:
and I'm using a lightweight gray and teal plaid wool for it. Matching is turning out to be a pain, and I'd forgotten how much I loathe sleeves, but I'm super excited for the result.
