Bruising after trigger shot

Did any of you bruise after you triggered? I have a huge bruise and I'm nervous I somehow did it wrong. 
TTC since September 2007 Dx - Unexplained 4 Clomid cycles all BFNs clomid/hcg/IUI#1 - #6 BFN IVF #1 cancelled due to slight OHSS IVF #2 BFP 3/24!! C/P Clinical Trials start May 2012 IUI#1 - BFN IUI#2 - BFN IUI#3 -

    Yep.  All my shots gave me bruises.  Lupron trigger was the worst.

    Totally normal.  I also get welts.  I try to trigger below my waistline and that reduces the bruising and welts.

    Phew, I was getting nervous.  The first time I triggered I did it in my stomach and had no bruising or welts.  This time I did the injection in my thigh and its bruised and really sensitive.  The stuff we go through....

    My trigger shot hurt like a biitch!  The next two days I was so sore!  You didn't do anything wrong.  GL

    My butt muscles were so friggin' sore, I couldnt even sit up right :) It was awful. I did learn that if I ice down the butt muscle and lay down a certain way, it doesnt hurt as bad getting the needle in and hurting afterwards.

     

    Lay down flat on your belly, then use your right left and move it sideways, 90 degree to your body to a relaxed position. Then get your DH to shoot the needle on the top butt muscle of the right leg.
