Did you have to take off your Wedding rings ?

I'm so sad that i had to take mine off yesterday. I usually never ever take mine off and i woke up in the middle of the night Saturday and my hands were so swollen they hurt and it tookme forever to get them off. I went out yesterday and bought a cheap fake engagement and band set.

Did you have to take them off?

What did you do if you did? Wear nothing, buy a cheapie, wear them around your neck....

thankfully I made it without having to take them off.......if I had to take them off then I probably would have bought a cheapie band.

I havent taken mine off because of swelling, but Ive been having some sort of allergic reaction ever since BFP so my finger itches like crazy if I leave them on. It feels weird not wearing them, but I have a nice scaly rash to remind me of them

I took mine off around 30 weeks - I just bought a cheapie set and wore it for a while but to tell you the truth I forget to put it on - it's just not the same

That is one thing I am looking forward to the most after Baby K gets here - I really miss wearing my rings.

I took mine off b/c my fingers were swelling in the heat, but I also didn't want to leave them on and have to cut them off. I got a cheapie but I only wear it if I'm going out and about, not around the house

I had to take mine off with my first PG around wk 24, I think. Before the 3rd trimester, I know. But it was June, I was already swelling and I was worried about having to get them cut off. I put my rings in the safe and didn't wear anything. I did have one of my Dr ask me if I was married after that...

I am at 24 wks right now and my rings are still loose, which is nice! Hopefully, this will be a perk of having a winter baby!

My hands have been swelling up from time to time. I can still comfortably wear my wedding band. My engagement ring still fits, but it's getting harder to take it on and off so I'm mostly just wearing my wedding band for now. If that eventually won't fit, then I'll get a cheapie.

Mine still fit just fine. Hoping it stays that way. Theyre a little big because I lost weight post marriage and pre pregnancy, so that had helped.

I had to take mine off right around 27w because of the swelling. I've thought about trying them on again now that it's getting cooler but I don't know if they'll fit.

I was going to do a cheapie ring but am just not wearing anything and am fine with it. I didn't even want to spend $40-$100 on a cheap ring - I know I'm married and after a few days my finger didn't feel so naked. I can't wait to put my rings back on though.

Omg my wedding band has been off since 21 wks, I wear it around my neck. I just didn't want it to get stuck as its not only my wedding band but my Nana's too. I can still fit my engagement ring on.

I think I made it until about 30 weeks. I bought a cheapie - seriously cheap, $12 at Target. I actually really like my cheapie.

I've been having days where I have to take mine off but some days I can still put it on. I finally just gave up and locked it in the safe today. I think I will get a really cheap cheapie for when I'm going out in public this weekend.

I took my wedding ring off about a month ago (it's a size 3.5, so was fairly small to begin with) and my engagement ring still fits (half size larger) but I don't like to wear it without my wedding ring, so I just replaced them both with a cute amber ring I got in Greece on my Honeymoon.

I tool mine off

about 36 weeks. I wear nothing. I am afraid if I wear them around my neck that the chain will break and I will lose them. (irrational, I know) So for now they are tucked away.. I can't wait to wear them again.

So far I've only had to take them off a couple of times due to the excessive heat we experienced in Seattle this year (never for more than a day though). I'm hoping that i'll be able to make it through the next 6 weeks without having to take them off. I would probably buy a cheap ring that looked like a wedding band or something just to avoid the awful glares I received the one day that I didn't wear my wedding rings.

I had to take mine off with DD by 25w or so and wore them around my neck. I already can`t wear them at night b.c my fingers swell up. I felt a little awkward being so visibly pg with no rings on, I felt like some ppl were judging, esp the old ladies who glared. I might buy a fakie this time, we`ll see.

Im still wearing mine. Im really hoping I don't have to take them off as I feel so naked w/out them. Not really sure what I'll do if I have to take them off.
