Backyardigans vs. Wonder Pets

A friend of mine told me today that she loves the Wonder Pets and Backyardigans annoys her. I'm the other way around... Wonder Pets annoys me and Backyardigans is fine in my world... other than seeing the same episode twice/day every day. What about you?

... and geez, the things we talk about now as opposed to our days before kids... my how things have changed!

I definitely pefer the Backyardigans! DS isn't quite to point where his sits and watches anything, but when we're in the basement playing I always turn on Noggin and he looks at it occasionally. Wonder Pets doesn't annoy be, but it's not my favorite.

I refuse to watch Wonder Pets. Super annoying. Logan thinks the Backyardigans are OK (I find their theme song very catchy). He's all about Dora, Diego, and Blue. We also like Jack's Big Music Show.

I personally like the Wonder Pets. Ming Ming cracks me up and I love the one where they had to help the puppy get out of the doggy door so it could pee. I don't think I have ever seen the Backyardigans though.

Backyardigans annoy me. I can't stand having it on for 5 minutes. Wonderpets are a no go with DD. She won't even look at it. Thankfully, Brenna loves Dora, Blues Clues, and lots of Sprout programs which are not as noisy and annoying. I just can't stand noisy programs.

We've only seen one or two episodes of the Backyardigans, but it comes nowhere close to as annoying as the Wonder Pets are. Where's a fly swatter when you need one? A couple of the Wonder Pets could use a good smack.

That being said, none of it matters. Justin's become a Barney kind of kid.

LMAO, Katie!! I hate the Wonder Pets. They are super annoying!! We are a huge Backyardigans family. I'll take them over anything else. Ethan loves music and dancing, and I think the story lines are cute. He likes Dora and Diego, too.

I've never seen a full episode of either (I'm more of a Blues Clues and Sesame Street fan), but the duck with the speech problem annoys the piss out of me. They show the commercials in our program guide and every time he says "sewiouswy sewious" it's like nails on a chalkboard.
