Curious - How many miles do you put on your car in a year?

I'm just curious and bored. I have been a SAHM since last September. I bought my car brand new in July of last year and am right about 8400 miles which puts me at about 7K a year I guess.

ETA: when I was a full time WOHM I usually put 12-15K per year.

    My car is the main car we use. I drive it to work and we drive it to all our family outings. We put about 12,000 or so a year on it.

    My car almost has 27,000 miles on it.  I have had it for 3 years.  So, that's about 9,000 miles per year.  But that does include like 1000 miles total for a few long distance road trips.

    Let's see.... I got it at the end of August 2006.  It now has around 26,000 miles on it.  That equals out to be around 8,500 miles a year.  We also drive it on at least one 1,000 mile trip each year.

    7000... I just took an avg though... When I was working I drove about 15 extra miles a day (times by 5, times by 50= about 3750 'extra' when I was working) As a SAHM I don't drive nearly as much as I did. my hubby puts on about 12500 a year.

    I'm a SAHM and put about 15k per year.  I thought that was normal until I read this post.

    This post makes me sad.  :(  I bought my 2009 Nissan Quest brand spankin' new out of the show room with 0 miles on it.  That was in April and I just hit 11,000 miles today.  

     I drive around 40miles to work 5days a week.  Then on days off I sometimes drive that far to the mall, walmart/target etc.  We also took it from Va to Ga (8hrs, not sure the miles) and drove around down there for a week before coming home.  One of the days we drove from Savannah Ga to Charleston SC for a day trip (2hr drive)   So we put a lot of miles on it from our vacation.

     Now Oct. 23 I will be driving another 6hr drive for a conference.  

    My poor van will probably have 15,000 miles on it by Christmas.   Hard to tell  what it will be by April 2010.  It makes me sad to think about it.

    About 7,000 per a year.  I probably only drive 10 miles a week but DH drives it a lot since he has a huge truck.  We also take it to California and the mountains several times a year.

    We have had our car for 4 years. I think our mileage averages out to approximately 20,000 a year. We put on 50,000 miles the first year we owned it.
