Ours is tomorrow morning. The stress of getting everyone up, fed, and showered by 10 AM is almost more then I can handle. But worse, I'm not sure how the photographer will get any good shots b/c any time we take off her clothes Mallory wails. On her website all the great shots are of adorable naked babies. Did anyone else think their LO would not do well for their shoot and were pleasantly surprised? I just hope tomorrow is one of her "good" days so we can get a good shot. She has days where we can't put her down and days where she's the most content baby in town. Any advice for a good shoot?
DD is on her way to 2!

Re: Newborn photo shoot
If she is coming to your house, I would make sure the house is warm and toasty. Also, when we did DS first pics we made sure to wear black so we could be the background if he needed to be held.

How is your LO around 10:00? My LO is sleeper in the morning but we did the shoot in the afternoon and it was a bad call. He was fussing a large portion of the time and would not let us get him naked!!! So instead we have a ton of pics of him swaddled, which is still ok, they came out good! Some suggestions:
Make sure house is very warm, be flexible and try not to stress (I think part of the reason DS was so fussy was because dh and I were so anxious about it!), make sure LO has a full belly (you might try and do the awake photos first and then feed and get her sleepy for the rest of the photos).
Another thing, the clicking noise on the photographers camera kept waking LO up, so the hairdryer suggestion in pp might be a good idea! The other thing I noticed was that the photographer (our wedding photographer who I love) was really excited to see us and very chipper and loud while talking which I think made LO stir more.
Oh, and one last thing, make sure if you have any clothes or props you want to use to pull them out now! One thing I wish I had was a diaper cover also, I hate the partial naked photos (the few we have) with the huggies diaper on, ugh!
good luck! I'm sure your going to get some great photos!
