3rd Trimester

I used to think nesting was a joke...

and then today, as I'm tying my shoes to take the dogs on a walk, I see some spider webs in our window sills in the bedroom. I grab the dust buster, and before I know it, I have the actual vacuum out, pointy end and all and am vacuuming every. single. window in the house, the baseboards, and the SCREENS, ya'll.

And the dogs still haven't been on their walk...

Re: I used to think nesting was a joke...

  • Oh nesting is serious business! I have so many extra cleaning products so my DH won't have to go to the store and try to decipher what we buy. I have however not been actually cleaning. But I am getting my dresser today for the baby's room, so I'm sure that will be spotless when I'm done.

  • cracking me up!  getting the crib ready for your baby :)
  • I am convinced my living room curtains smell odd and have been resisting the urge to tear them down and throw them in the wash.  My husband thinks I am wacko.  They are the thermal kind of curtains with a rubbery back and no matter what I do to them they would still smell the same.  I am the only one that notices it though.  DH hid the step stool so I can't get them down....

    Oh that is hilarious!?

  • I wasn't sure if I would get the nesting instinct ... until Wednesday afternoon when I went to take the garbage out and ended up cleaning the entire house for an hour and a half!
